We crammed into the multi purpose room, now called the Wolf room since I last worked, to watch the inauguration. Even though we are thousands of miles away in a country in Central America, everyone, Natives, Europeans, and Americans alike sat breathless waiting for Obama to be sworn in. We held hands and let the hairs rising on our arms, and the goosebumps on our flesh confirm that this was truly a day we would not soon forget. I sat next to one of my students from last year who wrote a persuasive essay on why we should vote for John McCain. Even he had tears in his eyes.
Need I say more.
