This Morning my daughter called me crying because her father would not sign her athletic permission form for her to continue to participate in Track. she has been running track for the last four years. She enjoys it, and she is quite good at it to boot.
Cameron who studies hard, gets good grades, and seldom lies, was told that she would have to stop doing something that brings her joy and allows her to forget that she made the decision to live with her father. Cameron who stays up late doing homework, who has a boyfriend that she has to keep secret, baby sits on the weekends to earn some money to buy the things she needs, and stashes some away for the day that she can be free from her patriarchal rule.
Is sobbing this morning because she yearns put her feet to the pavement and run free.
Cameron, the student, the athlete, the woman. Cameron Victoria, the Winged Goddess of Victory, has had her wings clipped.

I have a feeling he will regret denying her that opportunity. Poor girl! Luckily running isn't confined to the track.
Poor thing. I wonder why her father is against her running track. I hope she can change his mind!
